This could be kind of cool. After The Dark Knight, I’ve heard countless Republicans claim that Batman is actually George W. Bush, and it’s incredibly frustrating to hear such a statement from people whose experience with comics include 300 (the film) and Garfield. I’m still a strong believer in the notion that all superheroes are communists.

I think Jubilee lost her powers in M-Day. We can only hope that losing her mutant powers somehow activated her fashion sense.

Black Canary could use a style update. Fishnet stockings haven’t been in since. . . actually, have they been in? Just no valley girl costume. And as long as we’re on the topic, has Jubilee gotten an update yet?

I never connected to DC because I found most of their heroes to be too perfect. I need to see struggle rather then ease to be enticed. Marvel all the way!!! You should read MoonKnight its a head trip.

Bill - There are only two issues left in the RIP storyline. Unless something drastic happens, this story will be soon forgotten. Of course, if you want to check it out for yourself, you can just wait three months and buy the whole shebang as a trade paperback.

It just feels like three years because the DC money machine is rolling out Crisis after Crisis:
Identity Crisis, Infinite Crisis, Final Crisis… I’m having a Financial Crisis trying to keep up with all the tie-ins this time around. There are so many ancillary books floating around Final Crisis that have nothing to do with the main story. Not that anyone but Grant Morrison really understands what the main story is…
