Captain America rules.  In both his incarnations, he is the super soldier from World War Two, revived at a time when America needs him the most.  MMU put more emphasis on the “super”, while Ultimate stresses the “soldier”.

The original MMU Captain America is one of the greatest heroes in the comic book pantheon.  That Captain America, Steve Rogers of the MMU, is dead.  The current Captain America in the MMU is Bucky Barnes, whose circuitous path to claiming the mantel of Captain America and tenuous grasp on the morals that accompany that title make him an inferior copy of the original.

The Ultimate Captain America is a deeply flawed version of the all-American super soldier, but he’s still Steve Rogers.  For my money, that’s what it takes to win this contest.
